Broken harp string,
shattered song
Torn-up melody,
not-so-long
Tattered heartstrings,
worn and sad
Ripped-up lullaby,
I once had
One by one,
they'll fall away
Untouched beauty,
never played
Fraying music,
snapping notes
Splitting singing,
Dying hopes.

I wrote this poem during math class. So it sucks even more. Some of the strings on my harp have been breaking, and I thought that that whole idea sounded kind of poetic.
